Overview

The Decatur-Morgan County region is centrally located in the heart of the Southeast, on the banks of the Tennessee River.  This location makes it easy to move people and goods through the region as well as to other areas of the United States and throughout the World. 

US Interstate 65 runs North and South from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico, passing through the center of Morgan County.  East-West arteries are State Highways 67 and 36, each intersecting with Interstate 65.  This location is near many readily available transportation options, including water, air and rail, making it an ideal area for industries of all sizes – both domestic and international.
