2018 Career and Workforce Expo

On March 7, 2018,  over 1,700 students from Morgan, Lawrence, Limestone, and Madison counties filled the halls of Calhoun Community College at the 2018 Career and Workforce Expo. Morgan County Economic Development Association partnered with the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce to host the annual event. The purpose of this event is to inform and educate high school students of careers and curriculum needed for high demand jobs and to develop workplace skills necessary for placement and advancement. MCEDA would like to thank Joe Wheeler EMC, 3M, GE Appliances, Nucor, Toray Industries, and Pepsi Bottling Company of Decatur for sponsoring this year's successful event.
